Tour de France - Garmin-Cervelo wins Tour TTT with new wheel prototypes
By winning the team time trial on stage two in the 2011 Tour de France, the Garmin-Cervelo team achieved one of their biggest goals of the year. This hard-fought win required perfect planning and preparation by both the athletes and staff. Choice in materials is also critical, and close work between the team, Cervelo, and Mavic has resulted in cutting-edge wheels which the riders used to maximum effect.
